Le 27 juin 1644, Claude Cuenin est nomm\u00e9 huissier par le parlement, il est cautionn\u00e9 par son parent, le notaire Fran\u00e7ois Cuenin. Les surnoms sont nombreux, Cuenin-dit-Hugueninot, Cuenin-dit-Jacques d\u00e8s 1579, Cuenin-dit-Parrod la m\u00eam ann\u00e9e, Cuenin-dit-Petit-Huguenin. Les Cuenin dit Jacques donn\u00e8rent plusieurs notaires et des chirurgiens.
